Planning Phase

Planning Phase

The Planning Phase was initiated in November 2003 and completed in November 2004. The Planning Phase included the following accomplishments:

• established the CMS Steering Team,
• created the CMS framework of 16 CMS Elements,
• identified the CMS Pilots,
• conducted gap assessments within the pilots and environmental compliance programs,
• created the CMS Development Plan.(pdf)
• began incorporation of Health and Safety into the CMS
